The Big-D Idaho Falls office began, in earnest, in 2013 when a project construction team with ties to Eastern Idaho was relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to manage the construction of the Central Energy Facility project at BYU-Idaho. Company leadership then discovered there were other employees from Eastern Idaho eager to pursue more work locally. In turn, Big-D encouraged their eagerness and desire to establish a presence throughout Eastern Idaho. That presence continued to grow until Big-D officially opened a regional office in Idaho Falls in 2018.
Big-D Idaho Falls is proud to offers clients the ability to work directly with a local contractor who can devote a higher level of attention to projects, typical of a smaller contractor, but who is also backed by the significant resources of a much larger firm. With Big-D Idaho Falls you receive the best of both worlds – the dedication of an earnest small contractor and the resources, professionalism, and experience of a much larger organization.

The Big-D Lindon office opened in 2005 with the focus to increase Big-D’s presence in Utah County. The Lindon office constructs a wide range of project types annually, with key market sectors being commercial buildings, higher education facilities, multi-family housing, industrial, and mining projects. Big-D Lindon is a fully self-sufficient office, able to offer comprehensive Preconstruction and Construction services, and is staffed with a Preconstruction Director, a team of estimators, and a variety of market-specific construction team members.
Building and maintaining local client relationships has always been the driving factor for the Lindon office but being local for their employees who appreciate working on projects close to home and minimizing long commutes is equally as important. Big-D Construction was founded in 1967 in Ogden. It was our original home, first headquarters, and where it all started. The Ogden office is where our company culture and core values were forged and where Big Dee and his founding leaders built a company based on equal respect for customers and employees. The Landmark II Warehouse is a new, concrete tilt-up panel structure that includes subdivided space for two future tenants. Construction consisted of seven-inch slab-on grade foundation and 10-inch-thick tilt-up wall panels. The building features 18 dock height doors, as well as three overhead access doors. Construction included aluminum curtainwall and painted exteriors, an open-web roof structure and TPO membrane roofing with R30 insulation and skylights. The warehouse interior includes 5,600-sf of office space that includes a conference room, break rooms, dual sets of restrooms, and a mezzanine for additional storage. MEP systems include a three-phase electrical system, water, gas piping, rooftop units, and emergency/egress lighting.

201 Mountain View Park is a master planned industrial park that consists of 727,933-sf of flexible warehouse space distributed across four buildings that range in size from just under 100,000 square feet up to 375,264 square feet. Big-D constructed the core and shell of all four warehouses as well as associated site improvements and parking. Three of the buildings were built with rear-load capabilities, while the other was built as a distribution cross-dock. The building shells were constructed using tilt-up concrete wall panels of varying heights from 35&#8242; to 40&#8242; tall and are 8&#8243; and 9.25&#8243; thick. The large massing of the buildings is broken up with entrances that feature two stories of large storefront windows, wall panels that vary in height and walls and windows that bump-out on each side of each entrance. The buildings were designed for flexibility so that each building could have more than one tenant. Since construction, Big-D has completed multiple tenant improvements for various tenants in most of the buildings.
